Adventure | Adrenaline | Best Tasmanian Produce

“Every man can transform the world from one of monotony and drabness to one of excitement and adventure” – Irving Wallace

Does your team need a boost? Is it about time they were rewarded for their hard work and dedication? Why not say thank you in a way that will ignite passion and joy, as well as increase motivation through emotional wellbeing.

Hobart can offer an incentive program that will increase productivity, improve morale and stimulate greater output.

Day 1:

After arriving in Hobart on that shorter than expected flight and making your way to the Hotel, it’s time to get your delegates out and about exploring Hobart with an Amazing Race Style event.

Break down barriers, remove all your metaphoric “mind-grime” and bring your team closer together with a day of light-hearted competition and challenges. From scavenger hunts and quizzes to mini clown-bike races and abseiling, this “real life” take on the TV show is the perfect way to start an incentive program the whole team will love. Check out our friends at Aardvark Adventures for more ideas on how you can challenge your team (https://www.aardvarkadventures.com.au/amazing-race)

With an afternoon full of team building under their belts, your delegates will be ready to relax and we think that the Hobart Brewing Co is the perfect place to do this.  Located a short walk from the Hotel, this casual outdoor venue really does offer a welcome reception with a difference.  Think firepots, local craft beers, Tasmanian wines & spirits and food trucks that showcase the best and freshest Tassie produce available.  It’s one of our favourite venues and we think you’ll love it too. Day 2:

So it can’t be all fun and games, there has to be a time on every trip that the business gets done and we think the morning on day 2 is it. Settle into one of our conference spaces for a morning of education and celebration.  After enjoying lunch at the Hotel it’s time to get the crew outside and moving again and what better way to get the adrenaline pumping than the Mt Wellington/Kunanyi Descent.

Adrenaline and adventure = unforgettable memories. Get amongst nature at its finest as you start at the summit and ride (downhill) through the wilderness you have to see to believe. Embrace the Zen as you breathe in deeply and exhale slowly and release the weight of the daily grind.

After an afternoon at leisure exploring Hobart on foot, it’s time for your delegates to get ready to make their entrance at your Gala Dinner.  There are so many options for a dinner with a difference in Hobart but for something special we recommend Frogmore Creek, either the new City Restaurant or the original Winery at Cambridge. Day 3:

After a big night celebrating the company’s achievements, we think your delegates will be appreciative of some more fresh air and adrenaline.  So what’s going to be the perfect way to wrap up your time in Hobart? We think it should be the ultimate Hobart experience of getting out and about on the Derwent River with the Team at Hobart Yachts for some match racing.

Cross the finish line of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and experience part of Australia’s most epic sailing event first hand as you follow the path of seaman and adventurers who have been making this wave top pilgrimage for almost 75 years.  (https://www.hobartyachts.com.au/corporate/corporate-regatta)

Let’s face it, no trip to Hobart is complete without a visit to MONA.  We know you’ve been on the water all day but the 25minute ferry transfer from the City to MONA is one to be remembered as your delegates enjoy Tasmanian refreshments on board before arriving at the iconic museum.

Take a tour of one of the World’s best museums and Art Galleries before heading in for a farewell dinner. (www.mona.net.au)

Day 4

Time to head home and remember the amazing few days of fun in Hobart. We have no doubt you’ll be back soon for more.
